Logo Design

I think the logo for apple is good because it is very recognizable.  When you see the logo even if you didn't know what company it was your first guess would be an apple.  For this reason it is a worldwide known company because you can recognize the logo so easily it is one of the richest companies in the world.  I think for a company to have a good logo it needs to be recognizable and cause no confusion when you first look at it, and apple does that with theirs.

Art Made from Money

I found the image of the AK-47 to be particularly interesting because it looked like one of the more detailed works on the page.  I liked it because I am a call of duty player and sometimes use one in the game.  The image is very precise and most likely took a lot of time to make it as perfect as the person did with the details they put in it.

Fundred

I chose this image from the fundred website because it got the best message across for what they are trying to get accomplished.  The message says in it, leave no lead behind with a picture of a living organism shown by the sunflower in the back.  The person who made this is trying to get people to leave less lead in the dirt and save lives.

Currency

I find this design from the Cayman Islands very interesting and I like it a lot.  The thing that sticks out to me is the shell on the left side and the setting of a beach.  The Cayman Islands are known in America as a very nice vacation spot with plenty of nice beaches so the money is appealing to tourists that go there.  The colors stand out because they aren't green they are all different colors that make it look a lot more appealing to the human eye.  You can see the palm tree, a treasure chest and a boat in the back.  To me, the treasure chest is saying that you being there is kind of a like a prized possession.  This $10 from the Cayman Islands stood out to me and made the islands look very appealing to go to.

Chuck Close

I like this painting by Chuck Close a lot.  I like it because the effects he put in it changes the look of the man.  He adds the effects which makes it look like the man's hair is sticking up around his entire head, which intrigued me.  The effect also changes the way the man's eyes look.  It adds an angry look to the man's face making the picture more serious.  I think the painting would have been great before, but because even greater after the effects were put in to change the attitude of the image.

Repetition of Form

This image uses the repetition of the pots as the form of repetition.  The repetition brings the sense of unity to the middle of the image and takes everything away from the dull walls.  The repetition brings the entire focus to the center of the image, which is what repetition is supposed to do.  It is supposed to bring the focus to one specific point that which is done by creating the unity from the images being put close together.
